Forum Rules

Mission Statement

The purpose of FirearmsTrainingandTactics.com is to provide a forum/website to discuss any and all information related to training with and shooting firearms. The forum is open to all users, whether they bring a firearm to work, or not.

Posting Rules

1) Personal attacks - Please do not post any personal attacks against other members. Comments need to be restricted to the post, and not the poster. Debate is always welcome; personal attacks and name calling are not. This community is open to shooters of all ability levels. Beginners deserve the same respect as more experienced practitioners.Additionally, hateful or derogatory comments which attack any gender, ethnic group, religion, etc. will not be tolerated.

2) Post content - Do not violate anyone's OPSEC or PERSEC. Personal phone numbers, addresses, deployment locations, etc...are all best shared through PM ONLY. If you post anyone's information without their permission, it will be deleted, and you will be dealt with accordingly.

3) Trolling - Posting comments with the purpose of starting heated arguments, or which are otherwise inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic, are not welcome.

4) Industry Disclosure - If you are in the industry you must disclose this affiliation through your screen name or signature line. If you stand to make a profit from your post content, users reading your posts need to know this.

Posting Expectations

In order to keep the quality of information high, it is best to post information that you have first hand knowledge of. If you are repeating information that you have not personally confirmed or experienced first hand, you need to make that clear from the start.

Differences in opinion are quite common amongst the firearms industry, as there are few absolutes in this industry. And as a result, debates over preferences are common. We hope you use this forum to share and exchange ideas and not to win arguments. If you are not here to learn, you are probably here for the wrong reasons.

Use of the Marketplace

1) Members are allowed to sell their own personal items in the appropriate forums. Dealers and manufacturers need to contact the staff and receive permission prior to posting items for sale.

2) If your company is interested in becoming a site sponsor or dealer, please contact the staff.

3) Members who abuse this privilege or take advantage of other members will be banned, and their registration details will be shared with all other partner communities.
